System requirements

Item Requirement
OS Windows 10 / 11
Graphics card NVIDIA RTX 20 series or newer. AMD and Intel graphics and Macs aren’t supported. If you only use the gallery, explore, compare and the like, the light install needs no graphics card
Driver 580 or newer
Graphics memory 8 GB works; 12 GB or more is more comfortable
System memory 32 GB recommended. When graphics memory runs short, part of the model is kept in system memory (see below)
Disk About 4 GB for the app and its packages (about 1 GB for the light install), plus your models (2–20 GB each). Keep models on an SSD

Newer architectures such as Anima compute in bfloat16, which RTX 20 series cards don’t support natively, so they run very slowly. SDXL and SD 1.5 are fine on the 20 series.

On an 8 GB card:

  • In the generate panel, open More → VRAM and try “Balanced” first: it saves a lot and is only a little slower. If that’s still not enough, pick “Low” (uses the least, but is several times slower).
  • In ⚙ Settings → Generate, turn on “Store the main model in fp8”. The main model takes about half the graphics memory. It’s a little slower, and images come out slightly different than with it off.

“Balanced” and “Low” keep part of the model in system memory and move it to the graphics card only when needed, so system memory must be sufficient as well.

If system memory also runs out, Windows falls back to virtual memory on disk and generation becomes much slower.

32 GB of system memory is recommended for large models such as Z-Image, Krea 2, Qwen Image and FLUX; with less, “Store the main model in fp8” also reduces system memory use.

Right-click the desktop → NVIDIA Control Panel → “System Information” in the bottom-left corner; look for “Driver version”. If it’s too old, download a newer driver from NVIDIA’s website.
